Mise

Concept · Hospitality
The brief we set ourselves: a restaurant group runs its rota in a spreadsheet, prep on paper, and labour costs in someone’s head. Mise puts all three in one place: what is happening tonight, who is working this week, and what still needs doing before service.

Tonight, at a glance
The Today screen answers the manager’s first questions before service: how busy it will be, whether labour is on target, and what needs attention. Sales and labour share one dollar axis, so the gap between them is the story.

A schedule you move with your hands
Drag a shift to another day or person, or select it and use the arrow keys. Day totals, labour percentage, and anyone over 40 hours update as you go, and the app won’t put a cook on the bar.

One place for tonight, this week, and what still needs doing.
What we designed: the Today dashboard with an interactive chart, the drag-and-drop schedule, prep lists that update the dashboard, and a staff phone app for clocking in and swapping shifts. A real build would connect to the group’s point of sale and payroll.
